In this lecture, Christine Chiarello, PhD, of the University of California, Riverside, reviews contemporary research that identifies which brain regions coordinate activity during language processing and how this activity is modulated by characteristics of the task, language experience and individual differences. Recent discoveries implicate a broader interconnected network of regions spanning both hemispheres.
