Erikson, Erik H.

Erik H. Erikson (1902-1994) was a psychoanalyst famous for his developmental theory. Erikson studied psychoanalysis, but he also became interested in educational and developmental questions. He developed the psychosexual developmental theory of Freud further and instead of sexuality, he made the social relationships of the child the focal point. His psychosocial development theory conveys the whole human lifespan.
