Porteus Maze Test

The Porteus maze test is a non-verbal neuropsychological test, designed to assess executive abilities such as planning, judgement, decision making and the ability to delay gratification. It consists of a set of printed mazes which the participant is asked to find a route through, by drawing a continuous line with a pen. The mazes vary in complexity, and the goal for the participant is to avoid ‘blind allies’ and wrong turns withing the mazes.
