Schizoaffective Disorder

Schizoaffective disorder is defined in DSM-V as a disorder where the active-phase symptoms of schizophrenia occur together with a major depressive or manic episode. Similarly, the disorder is described in ICD-10 as a disorder in which both affective and schizophrenic symptoms are prominent but which do not justify a diagnosis of either schizophrenia or depressive or manic episodes.
